The Marketing Plan Project

Today

1. Hand out a copy of the entire plan to each student.
2. Go over the entire plan with them - beginning to end. Come up with specific dates (timeline or checklist - coming soon)
3. Form groups - 1 to 3 in a group
4. Begin Part 1 - Brainstorm (to be turned in by each group/team)
Seniors need to do this solo or work together with the other senior(s)


Part 1 - Brainstorm Assignment- Due Today by the end of class (printed out, signed and turned in at the end of the period today)

Get on one of your team members computers to record the following:

Open a Word document - save it as mp_brainstorm (you will link and email this to your teammates when you have completed this so they can link it as well.)

Copy and paste the info shown below and answer the questions asked in the manner requested:

2. Marketing Company/Team Name -

3. Your Marketing Company/Team company slogan or tagline (ie - We Deliver)

4. Think of what product/service/company you would like to do a marketing plan for - who/what is that product/service/company?

>Then, tell us what the company is - Name and Industry

>What is the specific product you are going to do your plan for?

>When exactly will you have your marketing plan take effect and why? First day of Summer? Fourth of July? Start of School?

5. Next, write a 1 Paragraph description of the product or service (product/service attributes: size, quality, etc. You are going to do you marketing plan for.

 

> Write out in descriptive detail - How the company is doing? You need to have at least 3 supportive facts (you can look at their stocks over the 52 week hi/lo, find articles online that describe how they are doing, etc.)

> Write out in descriptive detail - How the industry is doing? You need to have at least 3 supportive facts (you can look at their stocks over the 52 week hi/lo, find articles online that describe how they are doing, etc.)

Save again (mp_brainstorm) - email to each of your teammates so they can link it up - print out one copy - have each member of your group sign the paper - turn it it at the end of the period.
